Our Products and Services
We offer many products and services to meet your immediate Internet needs:
- Dedicated T-1
- Private WAN
- Web Hosting
As a "Full-Service" Internet provider, Hubris Communications has the systems and services to provide Internet products to Kansas companies large and small. As you grow, we have the ability to service your Internet needs and provide you new and effective solutions along the way.
We operate two regional offices to service our geographically-large customer base:
Opened in 1995, our Garden Office houses support staff in a 2000 sq ft facility.
Opened in 2001, our spacious Wichita office houses most of our growing staff in a large, 6750 sq ft building in the heart of Wichita's downtown business district. Hubris Communications' Wichita office was initially located at 120 S. Market Street in the space formerly occupied by SouthWind Internet Access. This office employs a number of Wichitans who were displaced after the acquisition of SouthWind Internet Access by OneMain.com and then subsequently by EarthLink Networks. In April of 2002, Hubris Communications purchased a building at 216 S. Market and relocated its business office to that location.
Our Business Ethic
In this day of acquisitions, roll-ups, and corporate failures, there is always a question as to what an organization's business intentions are. Hubris Communications has built a quality local Internet service for the benefit of Kansans. The company has built a significant subscriber base through controlled, stable growth. The company is currently free of any long-term debt and there is no intention to sell the business or in any way jeopardize what has been built over the years.
Hubris Communications was approached by a large, national Internet service provider about acquisition opportunities, but we did not participate. Now, with the benefit of hindsight, we believe this decision was a sound one. Employing nine full-time employees, we run a low overhead, network-centric organization that provides outstanding reliability and value with respect to dedicated network connectivity. We plan to continue to expand that business in the Wichita marketplace.
