Hubris Communications Celebrates 10 Years in Business
August 22, 2005
For Immediate Release
WICHITA, KS - August 22, 2005 - Hubris Communications this month celebrates its tenth anniversary of doing business in Kansas. Founded in Garden City in 1995, Hubris Communications now has offices in both Garden City and Wichita and provides internet access to over a 100 cities throughout Kansas.
According to Chris Owen, President of Hubris Communications, it is definitely a milestone for an internet company to be in business for ten years. "The consolidation of the late nineties and the ongoing dismantling of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 have really taken a toll on internet companies, especially in rural areas. Where there were once hundreds of small Internet Service Providers in Kansas there are now only a couple of dozen. As a result, the local independent ISP is now quite rare. We're quite proud to still provide local service and support for our customers after all these years."
Founded in Garden City, Kansas and doing business since July 1995, Hubris Communications, Inc. serves customers in south central and southwestern Kansas. As a provider of Dedicated Point-to-Point T-1's, Dedicated Frame Relay services, ADSL, and Dial-Up Internet access, Hubris Communications has the unique ability to provide a full spectrum of products and services to its customer base, large or small.
