WICHITA, KS - December 15, 2003 - Hubris Communications Inc has expanded its service area to include offering high-speed Internet access to several cities in south central Kansas. Beginning today, Hubris Communications begins offering Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) services in the Mulvane, Wellington, Winfield and Valley Center areas.

DSL, or Digital Subscriber Line, is ideal for those wanting reliable high speed Internet at affordable prices. DSL uses standard telephone lines to provide access to the Internet at speeds up to 6.0 Mbps. Unlike dial-up modem connections which use the voice portion of a phone line, DSL offers Internet access that is always on at very high rates of speed without tying up the voice service. A single telephone line can be used simultaneously for both voice and Internet.

Included with its DSL service, Hubris Communications offers email addresses for the entire family, virus and spam filtering and optional Family Friendly Filtering all at no extra charge. For business class customers, accounts also include 24 x 7 monitoring, domain name hosting, email on businesses own domain name and web site hosting.

As part of a special promotion for these cities, new DSL customers receive a special introductory rate of $34.95 for the first year ($64.95 for business class service). As part of the promotion Hubris Communications is also providing free equipment including a router and basic firewall to its DSL customers.

Founded in Garden City, Kansas and doing business since July 1995, Hubris Communications, Inc. serves over 3,200 customers in south central and south western Kansas. As a provider of Dedicated Point-to-Point T-1's, ADSL, and Dial-Up Internet access, Hubris Communications has the unique ability to provide a full spectrum of products and services to its customer base, large or small.
